Gentile di Lucania is a 2-ply carded sport weight yarn that is gently twisted. Knitting with this extraordinarily soft, voluminous, and light yarn is a true pleasure.

Recommended Care
Handle our soft and delightful yarn with care. It's delicate nature requires gentle attention for a soft, airy fluff finish. Be mindful of its fragility when winding and knitting with it. With proper care, your final product will showcase the beauty of this yarn without any compromise in quality.
WET-BLOCKING
- Fill a sink or basin with cold water.
- Submerge the fabric in water, gently squeezing out any air bubbles so that the piece can remain under water without being held there.
- Soak work for 30 minutes or longer allowing fabric to become completely saturated.
- Remove excess moisture by rolling your fabric between clean, dry towels with light pressure.
- Lay fabric flat and shape to air dry.

Our hand dyed yarns are professionally hand dyed by Treliz, and the dyes are not meant to bleed or fade. Because hand dyed yarn is unique and no two skeins will be exactly alike you are more apt to get a closer match by purchasing enough yarn now to complete your project. We recommend alternating skeins to prevent possible pooling, flashing or a sudden shift of color. When knitting your project work 1-2 row stripes alternating from 2 balls of yarn and carrying up the side of your project.
