Between stone and memory, Metapontum pays tribute to ancient Lucania (Italy), where Greek art and Roman elegance left their eternal mark. This half-moon shawl begins with a garter tab cast-on that symbolizes the beginning of a journey through history knitted stitch by stitch.
The result is a shawl that unites the solidity of the ancient stone with the delicacy of hand-knitting, a piece that invites you to wrap the shoulders with history, beauty and Mediterranean light.

RECCOMENDED CARE
RECCOMENDED CARE
Handle our soft and delightful yarn with care. It's delicate nature requires gentle attention for a soft, airy fluff finish. Be mindful of its fragility when winding and knitting with it. With proper care, your final product will showcase the beauty of this yarn without any compromise in quality.
WET-BLOCKING
- Fill a sink or basin with cold water.
- Submerge the fabric in water, gently squeezing out any air bubbles so that the piece can remain under water without being held there.
- Soak work for 30 minutes or longer allowing fabric to become completely saturated.
- Remove excess moisture by rolling your fabric between clean, dry towels with light pressure.
- Lay fabric flat and shape to air dry.
